Golf Active Living (Golf) - In the first semester, students take Golf PE 10, 11 or 12. This course follows the Curricular Competencies for Active Living: Participation, Health and Well Being and Safety.

Golf Skills “Learn to Compete” – In the second semester, students take Golf Skills "Learn to Compete" 10, 11 or 12. These online courses are already Board authorized. The focus of these courses follows the LTPD model created by Golf Canada and would focus on 4 areas of development: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental.

Schedule

Based on Royal Bay's *current timetable, students would have five blocks of the Golf Academy each week. This would consist of two instructional golf sessions (course TBA), one on-course session (course TBA). The two other blocks in the week would be used for strength, balance and flexibility training in the gym at Royal Bay Secondary. During inclement weather, student complete online work and focus on physical training.
