The annual Enhancing Student Learning Report to the Ministry of Education was discussed at the September 2023 Board of Education Meeting. The final report was shared with the Ministry of Education in September 2023.
The Framework for Enhancing Student Learning (FESL) formalizes the planning and reporting requirements within the Sooke School District to enhance student learning and success. It looks at results from various grade K-12 assessments to determine the intellectual, human and social, and career development outcomes among students. The report is required by the Ministry of Education and follows these guidelines.
The SD62 Framework for Enhancing Learning aligns with our district mission, vision and values, as well as our Na’tsa’maht Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement. The framework should be read in conjunction with the district's Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and provides an ongoing focus and support for our three strategic priority areas of: learning, engagement, growth.
