Contractors must have a scheduled time if they wish to enter schools or sites. To schedule a visit, please contact the school or site directly.
Planning a visit?
Once you have scheduled a time with the school or site, you must do the following before entering the site:
- Contractors must assess themselves daily to ensure they are not experiencing symptoms of illness before coming to school or site to prevent spread of communicable diseases.
- If you are unsure or concerned about your symptoms, connect with your health care provider or call 8-1-1 (BC CDC, Public Health Communicable Disease Guidance for K-12 Schools, Sept. 13, 2023).
- Wash or sanitize hands as soon as you enter and when exiting.
- Maintain as much distance between persons as possible during visit.

- Try to physically distance during meetings.
Reminder:
- Avoid touching face (specifically eyes, nose and mouth).
- Follow respiratory etiquette: Cover your mouth and nose during coughing or sneezing with a tissue or a flexed elbow and dispose of used tissues in a plastic-lined waste container. Wash hands.
- Do not enter a SD62 school or building if you are sick.
