Thanks to the generous funding of Ecofish Research Ltd., the Clean Energy Association of BC (CEBC) is pleased to offer a scholarship of $2,000 to a student who is interested in pursuing a future in clean energy at a post-secondary institution.
ELIGIBILITY
Must be a Canadian citizen and BC secondary school student (full-time, currently enrolled) that is graduating in 2025.
APPLICATION MATERIALS
1. Applicants must submit a 1-2 page paper in pdf format (approximately 500 words) responding to the following question: “Why is clean energy important to me as a young person in BC?” Please cite relevant experience with school projects or volunteer/community work and indicate any career or academic aspirations related to clean energy. Be sure to list the post-secondary institutions you have applied to, as well as any acceptances.
2. Applicants must provide one letter of reference. This could be from a teacher, employer, community representative, or coach. The reference letter should speak to your character and work habits.
3. Please include your contact information in the application (name, address, phone number, and e-mail).

The winner will be notified in late April 2025. The award will be presented at the CEBC Generate conference, during the awards presentation session on May 13, 2025
