In 2023, CFAX Santas Anonymous Society proudly launched its inaugural bursary award program aimed at supporting students embarking on their post-secondary education journey. Three exceptional individuals were honored with $2,000.00 each to assist them in their enrollment at local post-secondary institutions.
Recognizing that pursuing higher education not only shapes the lives of students but also holds the potential to positively impact entire families, we understand the financial challenges many young people in British Columbia face during this pivotal time in their lives.
About the Bursary: The CFAX Santas Anonymous Society Student Bursary aims to provide financial relief to deserving young individuals with preference to those who demonstrate a commitment to community service through volunteerism.
Recipients of this bursary will be granted $2,000 (for college) or $2,000 (for university) to contribute towards tuition fees at post-secondary institutions within Greater Victoria for the academic year 2024 – 2025.
Who is Eligible to Apply:
· Youth aged 17 and under at the time of application, demonstrating financial need.
· Accepted into, or currently attending, their first undergraduate degree or diploma program at a college, university, or polytechnic institute within the Capital Regional District (Greater Victoria, B.C.).
· Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
