Parent Advisory Councils (PACs)
Each school has a Parent Advisory Council that meets regularly. All parents and guardians are members. They are welcome to participate and/or become elected members. PACs play an important role by advising schools, supporting parents/guardians, and contributing to school community initiatives. At the district level, the Sooke Parents' Education Advisory Council (SPEAC) serves as the District PAC (DPAC), offering a monthly meeting. This is where elected delegates and interested parents/guardians from each school come together to discuss district-wide matters and promote education.
